Attention All Campers , Time to line up !
Hey: To all you Guys n Dolls out there. It has been great to hear from everyone . Almost good as Tuesday Night...(who remembers?) This whole revtalization is gaining momentum and speed . Ellen & I have been having flashbacks , no... not hot flashes . HA
Each email or photo triggers a memory that only a few can share . I t's great . I think we should consider a Makowsky 'reality show' , or how about a Makowsky 'category' on Jeopardy....LOL.......... "I'll take camphouse for 50 please ".........

Hi Jo-Ann, I would love to talk to you soon. It has been too many years. We were the best of friends for so many years. I have a great picture of us in our Harem costumes. I think i will send it to Rob to post.
Do you remember our counselors? Marty Kotin , who else. My dad has pictures too and will be home from Florida next week.
Every time someone posts it brings back so many memories. What a happy time it was for all of us. I wish my two boys had grown up like us. Talk to you tomorrow.
remember those hikes to the swimming hole, singing songs and carrying those canteens?

Jackie: Barry Goldfarb sat in the pasture. When he got up he was covered and I still haven't stopped laughing.
Also, when the Green Pioneers did a rain dance the night before the parade because we knew that Phyllis would kill us and we wanted to get rained out since we were winning on points.

Jackie now I'm in BIG trouble. What's going to happen when Hy finds out that I never once followed his guideline.
Arts & Crafts give me a freakin' break. Did any of you turn into Michealangelo? Of course not because I am to blame as your counselor. I deprived you of your clay and crayons. Except for one time when Hy got off on me and we had a ball throwing some flour at him in the camp house. Pretty grown up for a head counselor and his senior counselor don't you think? We had some laugh over that.
But somehow we had a great time doing what we wanted to do. Jackie where's your sister?
And Stevie is was not the Siver Spartans, rather it was the Silver Saracens. I don't even know how to spell it, but I do remember the name. Who came up with that moronic name anyway? Oops I think it was me.
And Stevie we never won a Color War. Ozer fixed them all. We won every event but somehow it always came down to the parade. And Hy always made sure Zeke won.
By the way Hy just called to tell me that Stevie, Jackie, Mitch, Larry, Laurie and Lenny are being tested for drug enhancers during the 1963 color war. He said he's taking DNA from all of us and comparing it to blood samples from back then.
And if any of us come up positive we will be disqualified from 2nd place to last place which is still how we always wound up anyway.
Lenny did look a little strange when Ozer had him standing out in the rain ruining his professional Broadway career as Nathan Detroit. Lenny can you ever forgive him?
I wonder if Hy has matured and is still giving shark bites?
Until next time...
