Ellen & I just came from a concert at our local park. Sort of a revival of old rockers. (like me & you mitch)

Anyway , Joe Turner from Deep Purple was there . when he did HUSH I almost fell off my chair. I bought that single (Ritchies of Ellenville) in Makowskys almost 40 yrs ago. It was too wierd. Still sounds good .

"Hush , I thought I heard her callin my name"

Happy Birthday Jodi, you probably don't remember me, I'm five years older. I remember your family. Hope it was happy, my 56th was yesterday. Seems like just yesterday I was 12 at Makowskys. See you at the reunion!

Hello Helaine...Welcome to the new fun site on your computer.

Just a note to everyone...Andrew Banerer has been found...and he sent me a check for the party at the hotel. Since he has not appeared on the blog as of yet, I thought his little scripture to me was noteworthy. It reads, and I quote... " Count me in! See you in July... BURNIN' DOWN THE HOUSE "

Great to hear about Andrew B, what about his brother? How about Sonny Levine, Glenn Sylvain and no one ever mentions the Harris family

Sonny (Irwin?) Was the fastest thing I knew on 2 feet . Not only did he win all the races , Sharon could never catch him either. I remember how he could run right out of his shoes, just like a cartoon. He was fun to be with.

Sorry he 's not here to enjoy this. Sharon , we look forward to seeing you.

Sonny was my main pinocle partner in Makowsky's for the whole decade of the 60's ,we had it measured, love to go up against my brother and Jeff Kaye and take the old guys down. We used to sneak into milton's house and Milton would chase us out and of course catch me, never Sonny. we hung occassionally up to md 80's via JCH connection, some of my friends at N.Utrecht HS knew him too. He was a lot of fun. RIP

Anticipating my Dad and his friends pulling up in jammed packed car on thurday or friday night was a great childhood memory, Especially since I was alone all week with 2 women. (No offense intended Sue or Mom)

My father never came up for the weekend empty handed. He always brought me fishing hooks , paddleballs and socks. These seem to have been things I always lost.

The love and joy of being together as a bundalow family was wonderful. I know many of you feel the same
