    Had a hard time deciding.....Sirius-NFL
    XM-MLB

Finally went with XM for the Yanks. Wish someone would come up with a receiver for both services!

At my card game it's either Sirius or Wolfgangsvault these days. If I drove more I'd have it in my car for sure. But for jazz try bgo.org 88.3fm in nyc and anyone that likes real classic soul listen every Saturday morning from 9-11 AM and great blues shows too.

Radio in Sofla bites. 'Classic Rock' is what they play between commercials. I hate that term classic rock. Hip hop , reggaeton and pop stations all rule the airwaves. Gimme back WNEW , Scott Muny, Dave Herman , Dennis Elsis, and the others......

Earl Baily an Ex-DJ of WNEW does the Deep tracks channel on XM, he's good

So , Did you guys fall asleep to some elevator music or something.??

So , about live Music , who still goes to concerts? Ellen & I saw Loggins & Messina @ the Hard Rock (new arena holds 5000) . They can still put on a good show. They did their stuff , Loggins solo stuff and some Poco material .

    Mindy

I saw Jethro Tull in the Albany Armory in '70 or '71 (now called the Pepsi Arena) and remember Ian Anderson came out in a long trenchcoat very similar to the Aqualung album cover. It was one of the best concerts I ever saw. In fact, I'm pretty sure Laurie Schleifer and Caryn Stecker went as well.

mitch/mindy... funny stuff, my first rock concert was Jethro Tull in the Fillmore east in 1969 ,great intro to the music scene in NYC then. saw them with ELP at Jones Beach a few summers ago ,still great but not nearly as mobile. i really miss the Bottom Line where i went the most . Al Kooper birthday bash was a classic, had a whole set of the original Blood Sweat and Tears but NYU needed more dorms so closed last year

In 75 Springsteen did a whole week at the Bottom line, carried live on WNEW . It propelled him , you know the rest. Spent many nights at the Village Gate...Kennys Castaways and the Lone Star. Great intimate places.

The 1st event ever when Nassau Coliseum opened was Tull. I was there in the very last row, glad I can still remember it. LOL

Rob, if Roger Waters comes to Florida, the second set is Dark side of the moon, complete .
mindy, Capital a different and very good theatre in NJ. Usually theaters close due to tax problems, like they never pay them. Close , reopen ,new name ,no tax liens, nice country america. Hope to meet you at "the milky way "one day

Central park concerts were great. First Schaeffer then Dr. Pepper. I'd make a quick clothes change in the office then shoot uptown for the show.

I saw Gregg Allman last night in an outdoor amphitheater setting (Pompano Beach). Great weather , great crowd consisting of die-hard blues lovers & Rockers (no one under 30 in the whole crowd)
He can still perform well and kept us old fogies movin. He did some Allman Bros. material , some solo stuff and standard classics. Really good show.
