To all of my Makowsky's family - this year has brought us much joy and some sorrow. One of my greatest joys is having many of you back in my life. I hope this coming year brings you all first health and then happiness.
Love to all...............Jodi
Hey what is this incribing thing, sounds like fun :)
I hope this message posts as I have been having a time with this blog for too long tonight! I wanted to tell you all that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all your comments and messages and I am so happy I had the opportunity to be part of that wonderful experience called the Makowsky's Reunion. Larry, thanks so much for that call a little over a year ago. I gave Shelley's daughter the Makowsky's T-shirt with Shelley's name on it and showed her the photos and she was very grateful.
I will write again soon but for now, thanks again for sharing Makowsky's with me. Judy and Steve, Shari and Jodi, Ronnie and Jackie, Gail (I know you are reading these), Larry, Rob and Ellen, Mitch and anyone else who regularly reads this blog. . . Happy New Year and much love, laughter and light!!
I just realized a partial message posted from me which was not supposed to happen. See what I mean??
It looks like we are a little closer in age. I think that we used to hang out, but my memories are not all clear. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
I have a sister named Lori who is eight months younger than I am. (The math in my family gets very confusing.) I also have a brother named Steve who is nine years younger than I am. We all lived in Connecticut.
Shari, yes we did hang out some. I went to Makowsky's the summer's of 71-74. When I first got on this board I asked another Shari if she was you. I lived in the desert across from Debbie Himmel (who has been on this board a couple of times). I have an older sister Kelly, two younger brothers, John and Mike and a younger sister Lisa. Good to see you on the board. You can e-mail me at mjeyckmans@ashland.com.
For those who are interested, tonight on PBS, there is a show tonight (Monday)in our area, called "Bragging Rights: Stickball Stories" which might be interesting to those of us old enough to remember stickball, whether in the street or against a wall.
Shari and Lori and Stevie...You had the bungalow across from me on the Hill. You were next to the Reiss'? and across from me. I was next to the Fleiss's. The Kay's were at the other end in the bungalow that was Phil Steckers.

See......I haven't disappeared completely.
My mother has been here in Mass for a week and I've kept her chained to the to kitchen. I'm glad my belt has extra holes in it.
Happy New Year to everyone.
(great to hear from you Faith)

Hey Steve,
A good "scratch awl" works well when you run out of holes on your belt!
