The imperfect Giants pulled off the perfect upset last night. In what will go down as one of the biggest shockers in the history of the NFL, the surprising Giants ended one of their wildest seasons ever by stopping the New England Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII for their 3rd Super Bowl Championship. They pulled off the perfect crime. Big Blue robbed the Patriots of a perfect season and immortality.

    I agree.

It was a total team effort. I know that Eli Manning won the MVP, and deservedly so, but for me I would have shared the MVP award among Michael Strahan, Osi Umenyiora, and Justin Tuck. They "physically whipped" the Patriots and that was why the G Men prevailed.

The Patriots did not lose this Super Bowl. The Giants WON this game! Hail to the Big Blue Wrecking Crew!

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree, the defense was the MVP, but it would be hard to decide what days each would get to drive the Cadilac.

It was a fun game to watch, I scared my dog a couple of times, lots of yelling in my house. Guess I'm my daddy's daughter.

That was a football game! A true history maker. Quite a nail-biter too! The old adage really did apply to the Pats..YOU CANNOT WIN THEM ALL!

It was a great day for NY sports!

Now that NFL season is over, it is NHL season.

It was great to see Eli shine over his smug, obnoxious brother. The whole team was great. That was football at its finest. A team that was a wild card coming in and slaying the dragon!

Now I can say GO RANGERS GO!

By the way, lost in the craziness of the Super Bowl.....

Tom Petty, who is a longtime favorite of mine was awesome last night at halftime. Two of the songs he played during his set were:

"I Won't Back Down" and " Running Down a Dream"...either could become a Giants theme song...

He also he also played "Free Fallin" which could be used for New England...lol

    Sorry guys....I'm still giddy!

To all you naysayers, yes, we Talked the Talk and now we can fittingly Walk the Walk. Watch us on TV tomorrow at the Canyon of Heroes Parade.

And to all the New England Patriots fans, who witnessed, perhaps, the greatest single season any team has ever had in history of the NFL...

Congratulations on your 18 Wins and 1 GIANTS Loss.

Mitch: Good analogy on the Tom Petty Songs!

Yo Kup , Petty should have done
"Even the Losers" ,,,, You sing the rest. The lyrics speak for themselves, uncanny...

Good halftime show , no BS , no special effects , just good ole
    American ROCK N ROLL.

This Giant team brings glory to NY with tremendous heart, determination, grit and huge defense....as stated today after the parade this morning - the Dallas Cowboys are no longer America's team, but the NY Giants are...nuff'said, YEAH BIG BLUE!

We need to come up with a name for the Tyree catch. How about the Tyree Touch? The Helmet Holder? Any ideas? After all, this is a Giant moment in sports history.

    Hey Storch...

We've had The Drive, The Catch, The Play, The Immaculate Reception etc. but this play has 3 parts, so here goes....

    The Great Escape! (Part 1)
    The Throw! (Part 2)
    The Grab! (Part 3)

It could be called #1 or #3

    Or, how about:
The Immaculate Connection! ( a little hokey?)

So why not just call it?

    Eli to Ty!

    It's simple and it rhymes.

This game has had more analysis , more debate and more buzz than the whole 2 weeks prior to kickoff

    Amazing , we're still buzzing

Mitch: I like the Eli to Ty. That one is simple and very effective! We have a winner!!!!!!!!!

I'm still worried about my Rangers. After all, the Giants were a wild card that made it. Maybe my Rangers can too?
